HaruChaeng Terms of Service

Effective September 2, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms are intended to set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Provider and users, and other necessary matters, in connection with the use of the HaruChaeng service (the “Service”) provided by TerryWi (the “Provider”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. The Provider posts the content of these Terms on the in-app settings screen or a separate web page so that users can easily become aware of it.
  2. The Provider may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws.
  3. When the Terms are amended, notice will be given through in-app announcements or this document from 7 days before the application date. However, for changes unfavorable to users, notice will be given by a clear method from 30 days in advance.

Article 4 (Conclusion of the Use Agreement)

  1. The use agreement is concluded without any separate procedure when the user installs and runs the Service.
  2. The backup/restore feature via Google account linking additionally becomes available at the point when the user completes Google account sign-in within the Service.

Article 5 (Provision and Change of the Service)

  1. The Provider provides users with the following features.
    • Supplement registration, check-off, and reminders
    • Mood (emotion) journaling and day's-end reminders
    • Subscription billing D-day reminders
    • Viewing records through the calendar
    • Retrospect (analysis of records by period)
    • Backup and restore of records through Google Drive
    • Banner ads through Google AdMob
  2. The Provider may add, change, or discontinue features to improve the quality of the Service, and will give prior notice in the case of material changes.
  3. The Provider may temporarily suspend provision of the Service where there is a substantial operational reason, such as maintenance, inspection, replacement, or failure of information and communication facilities, or interruption of communications.

Article 6 (Service Usage Fees)

  1. All features of the Service are currently provided free of charge.
  2. The Service secures operating funds by serving banner ads through Google AdMob.
  3. If paid features are added in the future, the usage fees, payment methods, and so on will be announced in advance within the Service.

Article 7 (Personal Information Protection)

The Provider complies with applicable laws and a separate Privacy Policy in order to protect users' personal information. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details.

Article 8 (Users' Obligations)

Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service.

  1. Using another person's Google account information without authorization
  2. Reproducing, disassembling, decompiling, modifying, or distributing the Service's programs, designs, trademarks, etc. without the Provider's prior approval
  3. Interfering with the operation of the Service, such as by spreading viruses or malicious code
  4. Other acts that violate applicable laws or these Terms

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  1. Health-related features within the Service, such as supplement check-offs and mood journaling, are merely tools to assist the user's own record-keeping and are not intended for medical diagnosis, prescription, or treatment. Please always consult a medical professional for health-related decisions.
  2. Record data of the Service is, in principle, stored only on the user's device. If the user changes, resets, or deletes the app on the device without having separately performed a Google Drive backup, records may not be recoverable, and the Provider is not responsible for this.
  3. The Provider is not responsible where it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disaster, war, or interruption of communication services.
  4. The Provider is not responsible in connection with the use of the Service provided free of charge, unless there is a special provision in applicable laws.

Article 10 (Termination of the Agreement and Account Deletion)

  1. Users may at any time request cancellation of Google account linking through the in-app “Delete account” function, and the Provider processes this immediately.
  2. Upon account deletion, the Google sign-in link and the backup data stored in Google Drive are deleted immediately. Local records remaining on the device are deleted only when “Reset records” is performed separately or the app is deleted.
  3. Regardless of account deletion, users may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. All disputes arising in connection with these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Lawsuits regarding disputes arising from use of the Service are filed with the competent court as determined by applicable laws.
